Photosynthesis, Transpiration and LAI: scale effects of spatial patterns
Abstract
Field level fluxes of CO2 and H2O as well as LAI are highly dependent on the underlying spatio-temporal patterns of environmental factors. Process models at the field scale have to consider the interaction with distribution and spatial patterns of input parameters applied on different plant response processes at the underlying leaf- and canopy-level.
