  • Changes in the Article Processing Charge of Silva Fennica

    2021-12-15

Starting February 2022 we will modify the APC classes of Silva Fennica. The new classes will be based on the World Bank’s country income classification:

    - High-income countries: 900 €

    - Upper-middle income countries: 600 €

    - Lower-middle income and low income countries: free

In order to benefit from the reduced APC or the APC-waiver, both the first author and the corresponding author must work in a research organisation based on a country of the given income class. We will check the World Bank classification on the date of submission.

New APC for high-income countries will be applied on manuscript submitted on or after 1 February 2022, and the APC reduction for upper-middle income countries will be applied for articles accepted for publication in 2022 that have been submitted on or after 1 July 2021.

Check journal policies for more information.
